I have enabled CEC on my Vizio and the CEC/RIHD setting on the receiver. I am able to get the 2 devices to see each other and even have ARC working. My issue comes after I turn the TV off, and want to turn it back on again. When I turn it off, the receiver goes into standby mode like I would expect. When I turn it on, the Vizio logo pops up for a few seconds, then the screen turns black. Normally at this time, the TV pops up the input it's currently set to. Instead, it stays black for about 10 seconds. Then, the power light blinks off and on, then nothing for 10 seconds. This repeats one more time, then the receiver powers on. Right afterward, the TV turns off.
If I try to turn the TV on again with the receiver already on, each time the TV power light blinks, the HDMI light on the receiver flashes like it's initializing. The TV still behaves identically as in the previous paragraph.
The only way to resolve this is to turn off the CEC feature on the receiver; unfortunately doing this means no ARC. Any ideas as to what the issue could be? Both devices are on the latest firmware revision.

One thing we did was connect a CEC Blu-ray player to the TV directly, and it worked great with the TV. I didn't have the issue I am having with the Onkyo...
I also did a factory reset on the Onkyo and configured it again. Unfortunately, this didn't fix the problem. Also, I can't get the ARC working like I had the night before! So it's like taking a step backwards.
Is the next step trying to find a service center are there other things I can try?
